City Attorney Contemplating Whether to Charge Dodger Star James Loney With DUI
Los Angeles Dodgers star James Loney was arrested in November of 2011 on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was arrested following a car collision on the Ventura 101 freeway. Loney was driving a 2009 Maserati that allegedly sideswiped three other cars and then stopped in the fast lane.
City prosecutors were working today to decide whether to file criminal charges against Los Angeles Dodgers star James Loney, who was arrested in mid-November on suspicion of driving under the influence.
At the time, the officer stated that Loney appeared to be intoxicated and a blood sample was taken at the hospital.
The City Attorney Office is now reviewing the circumstances in considering on whether or not to file charges.
