Man Agreed to a 10-Year Prison Sentence for Distribution of Marijuana Charges
The former manager of a Penske Truck leasing outlet in Temecula, pleaded guilty to distributing 2,200 pounds of Marijuana Monday. Under a plea bargain, David Jeffrey Barragan agreed to a 10 year prison sentence. According to the U.S. attorney's office in San Diego, Barragan showed others how to build secret compartments in the rental trucks and then instructed couriers to deliver loads of Marijuana to Kentucky, Texas and Illinois. Barragan also created false documents for the loads. He will be sentenced April 25.
