Actor Anthony Michael Hall who starred in "Sixteen Candles", "The Breakfast Club" and "National Lampoon's Vacation", was arrested Monday night on suspicion of disturbing the peace.
According to Hall's neighbor, Hall tore up plants in a common area of their condominium. The neighbor heard the noise, came out of his unit and asked Hall what he was doing, law enforcement sources said.
Hall began to curse at the neighbor and threatened to "beat him to a pulp." According to the sources, Hall then went to go knock on the man's front door and when the neighbor opened the door, Hall told him to come outside and fight. The man ignored Hall's invitation to fight, closed the door, and called the police.
