Using a facial recognition software program, authorities have arrested a 31 year old man and a 19 year old woman who are suspected in three recent armed robberies in Lancaster, California on Thursday January 27, 2012.

The targeted robberies were: a postal supply and private mailbox business; a check cashing business; and a fast food restaurant.

The robberies netted thousands of dollars.

After using the facial recognition software program, detectives arrested the man and woman and also found a handgun in the woman’s house the Detectives believe was allegedly used during the robberies.
