At this point, the critical thing for you to do is sit down with us and begin the process of designing a strategy to get you out of the criminal justice system!
Our Encino location is straightforward to get to because it is close to two major freeways and easy to access from just about anywhere. The consultation is free of charge, and we will do everything we can to answer all of your questions and help begin the process of providing you with the control and peace of mind that your arrest has impacted.
WE OFFER BOTH OVER THE PHONE CONSULTATIONS AND IN-PERSON MEETINGS
If you cannot meet with us face to face, we will discuss your case and circumstances over the phone and let you know what we can do to help. This is helpful to those clients who live out of state or are too busy to come in to meet. It is suggested that if you are able, you should meet face to face with the attorney you are considering hiring. I try the best I can to give you factual information about your case, and if you hire me, we will develop a plan to get you out of the court system as soon as possible.
Another significant advantage to meeting with the potential attorney is ensuring that you get the real deal when you hire your attorney. Many “mill” law firms advertise on the Internet with one attorney's credentials. Then you find out that attorney does not practice criminal defense anymore and is using less seasoned attorneys to deal with their cases.
One trip to the office or a couple of questions over the phone will root that trick out real quick. One more thing that a face-to-face meeting does is let you evaluate the attorney you are considering hiring. If you like them, then the judge and prosecutor will likely be good with them as well. Also, it weeds out those attorneys whose parents gave them a bunch of advertising dollars when they passed the bar but do not have the experience necessary to represent you properly.
Many attorneys are at the top of Google who has not been criminal defense attorneys very long, and by meeting them, you will recognize their inexperience. It is not easy to choose an attorney, so take your time and make a choice that makes sense. I wrote the Art of the Perfect Defense, which is meant to guide/assist in choosing a criminal defense attorney. We offer a free case evaluation.
